How much math is required?

First, the math background a person needs is largely dependent on which Program of Study you select. In general, arithmetic skills are all that is required (simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). If you are reasonable comfortable with basic arithmetic, chances are you will do well with the training. Remember, for the more advanced programs, you will learn how to use Excel and statistical software to do the calculations for you. Essentially, you will be given an overview of the theory, but the main focus is on how to get data into the statistical software and then interpret the resulting output. The instructional goal is to create highly effective problem-solvers that know how to make better decisions through data, not theorists who can derive equations and recite calculus. The latter task is best left to universities.
